Pablo y Pablo Woodinville

We recently dined at Pablo y Pablo in Woodinville, and it was a fun experience. As a vegetarian, I decided to try all their veg tacos - mushroom, sweet potato, and cauliflower. The chips and cascabel salsa were the ideal starters. The salsa had a smoky kick that added an extra layer of flavor. The mushroom taco was an absolute winner. It was bursting with earthy flavors, and the texture was just perfect. The combination of sautéed mushrooms, fresh veggies, and a delicious sauce made this taco a standout. I couldn't get enough of it. On the other hand, the sweet potato taco stole my heart. The sweetness of the perfectly roasted sweet potatoes paired brilliantly with the spicy and tangy toppings. It was a harmonious blend of flavors that left me craving more. 5/5 Unfortunately, the cauliflower taco didn't quite hit the mark for me. While I appreciate the effort to incorporate cauliflower, it lacked the depth of flavor and excitement that the other two tacos delivered. It wasn't terrible by any means, just not as memorable as the others. Now, let's talk about those tequila battered artichokes! Wow, they were a delightful surprise. The crispy, golden coating perfectly complemented the tender artichoke hearts. Dip them in the cascabel salsa or the verde aioli, and you've got yourself a heavenly combination that's hard to resist (The last few bits were a little oily though) 4.5/5 - Highly recommend To wash it all down, I sipped on a refreshing Moscow Mule, which was excellently crafted and balanced. It was a perfect match for the spicy and savory flavors of the tacos. The El Pablo, a veggie larger plate, was fine but nothing too special. It didn't quite stand out amidst the other culinary delights I tried during this visit. The charming setting and welcoming atmosphere added to the enjoyment of the meal Overall, Pablo y Pablo offers some good veggie options. I'd rate them a solid 4/5. This was our first time trying this spot. Everyone agreed it was a really great spot with lots of good food options. There were ample options for vegetarians or vegans as well which can be hard to find in Mexican restaurants typically. The dessert menu was exceptionally good. Highly recommend. Do keep in mind parking in this spot is a little bit tricky so plan to come ahead of time so you have ample time to find a good parking spot. And make a reservation online ahead of time to make sure that you get a seat.

Quick edit: went back a while after initial visit. how do they justify serving cold tacos? Cold filling with cold tortillas. It’s appalling. Especially for the price. Just make the food warm. Original: This place will be a good place for happy hour drinks with chips and guacamole. Overall it was better than most Mexican restaurants in the area. Tacos were $6-7 and quite large but flavorless. It felt like they tried really hard to make the tacos sound/look exciting but they just didn’t taste very good. 2 will fill you. The Birria quesadillas were fairly close to a favorite taco truck of mine and worth a try. Service was nice and attentive.

We had a great time here last night. Our server was so sweet and very helpful, our party had 2 celiac and he made notes and explained that the kitchen would wipe down all the surfaces for us. All the tacos come on corn tortillas so lots a variety. The guacamole was some of the best guacamole I have ever had. Spicy margaritas were delicious. Overall really good and great for gluten free people! Even gluten free flan!

A lovely frosé with chips and guacamole to start. Thankfully it’s a generous guac portion, but not accompanied by a proper amount of chips. We got the mushroom quesadilla and I love a quesadilla, but the amount of mushroom prevented the cheese from sticking. While it was flavorful, it also fell apart rather easily. They have oddly premier sour cream - it’s so smooth.

Great service and food. The one taco option is business brilliance - you can have one of each. Tried the el pastor, chicken, baha and a couple others, all delicious. Salsa is thick (not chunky or watery) and chips are housemade goodness! Recommend the taquitos and the street corn (super crunchy and delicious); blood orange margaritas were well made. This is my 3rd visit and they're consistently good.
